Step 1: Connecting Your BTC Wallet

  1. Open and click “Launch App” on the first page.

  2. In the app, click the “Connect Wallet” button in the upper right corner to connect your BTC wallet.

  1. It's crucial to ensure that you are using the Bitcoin environment. In the UniSat wallet, you can do this by clicking the upper right corner and selecting "Bitcoin".

  1. It's essential to use a Taproot address. For instance, if you are using a UniSat wallet:

a. Click the “Settings” button in the lower right corner of the wallet extension.

b. Select “Address Type,” then choose “Taproot (P2TR)” as the address type.

c. Please note that: By connecting your wallet to Yala, you acknowledge and certify that you wish to deposit Bitcoin and understand that doing so may result in the loss of some or all Bitcoin ordinals, NFTs, runes, and other inscriptions in the connected wallet. You further acknowledge that this interface may not detect all such inscriptions.

Connecting Destination Chain Wallet

After connecting your Bitcoin wallet, the next step is to connect your Destination Chain Wallet. This is the wallet where you want to receive $YU.

  1. Click the “Connect Destination Chain Wallet” button in the upper right corner of the protocol page.

  1. Sign in to your wallet and ensure it is connected to the Ethereum Mainnet.
